Three 1957 Kitchens

One yellow, one pink and one turquoise. These retro kitchens and their floor plans were featured in a November 1957 womens' magazine. Everything in these kitchens, from the vinyl-tile flooring, vinyl window shades, dacron curtains and decorative-laminate counter tops were washable and easy to care for. With a coat of wax, the metal cabinets were easy to keep bright and shiny too. Note the Copper finish used on the appliances, range hoods and canister sets.
