Enamelware
Vintage kitchen enamelware was made in a variety of colors including white, blue, red, purple, brown, green, pink, and gray. Some colors were solid, but many had swirled or spattered patterns. If the enamel surface is intact, and shows no rust, the enamelware kitchen items available today can still be used as they were intended.......But they are perfectly suited for re-purposing; using a colander as a fruit bowl, for example.
